Please clean your STYLPRO bowl using warm soapy water. Once you’re brushes have been cleaned they may leave an oily residue, especially if you are cleaning foundation brushes or other oil based products, the best way to remove this is with warm water leaving your bowl sparkling clean and ready to freshen up your brushes next time. See this video for a demonstration.
To stop the build-up of germs in your makeup brushes we recommend you clean your makeup brushes once per week. The STYLPRO Original is also great to use for a quick freshen up when changing makeup styles and wanting fresh brushes.

You do not have to use the STYLPRO Vegan Cleanser but for best results we highly recommend it. The STYLPRO Vegan Cleanser was made to make your brush cleaning experience even better. If you are trying to remove water soluble makeup (powder makeup, bronzer, blusher, eye shadow) from your brush you can use liquid soap and water.
If you are trying to remove oil-based makeup (liquid foundation, eye liner, lipstick) then the STYLPRO Vegan Cleanser is required. The STYLPRO Original comes with 2 x 10ml sachets of our especially developed STYLPRO Vegan Cleanser, you will be amazed how effective our cleanser is at removing oil-based makeup … we know you’ll love it.

If you wish to use soap and water we advise you use a small amount of liquid soap into the bowl with a enough water to cover the tips of the bristles. Do not submerge the brush ferrule (the area that holds the bristles) into the solution and get it wet as this may cause damage the bristles. TOP TIP: Do not add too much soap as this will cause the solution to over froth when the device is in use.

We have tested the STYLPRO Original with a huge range of brushes and most brush types will fit into the collars. There are 8 silicone collars which have been especially designed to hold any brush handle between 5mm and 30mm in diameter. The the STYLPRO Original may not be suitable for flat handle, oval or double ended brushes.
Yes, the STYLPRO Original works with a range of natural and man-made brushes. Please note we do recommend natural brushes are only spun dry for 3-5 seconds. If any of the bristles do stick out after use, please use a damp cloth to mould them back into shape and leave them to air dry.
The force exerted on the bristles when spinning is very low in comparison to the bending, squeezing and pulling action used when cleaning brushes by hand. As part of our testing we retested a range of brushes 500 times, to see how they were affected. The results show that there was little to no effect on the bristles. Please note when changing from wet to dry, bristles can be delicate. For natural bristles especially, please only spin dry for 3-5 seconds then stop. If any of the bristles do stick out, please use a damp cloth to mould them back into shape and leave them to air dry. As there are so many factors regarding brushes, we cannot be held responsible for any damage to your brushes.
